The
Picts were a group of
Late Iron Age and
Early Medieval Celtic people living in ancient eastern and northern
Scotland.
[1] We know something about where they lived and what their culture was like from the geographical distribution of
brochs,
Brythonic place name elements, and
Pictish stones. Picts are attested to in written records from before the
Roman conquest of Britain to the 10th century, when they are thought to have merged with the
Gaels. They lived to the north of the rivers
Forth and
Clyde, and spoke the now-extinct
Pictish language, which is thought to have been related to the
Brythonic languages spoken by the
Britons who lived to the south of them.
Here is my Picts Army for impetus, I hope you like it.
Core units are great units of light infantry with long spears
feary enemies for calary, with great mobility.
If you want to use pits, you must use woods in the main of the table, so they can muve safe in theme.
Light cavalry with javels are necessary to protect your flanks. If you put your general in one of theme, he can easly goes where he needs.
